Some year ago, the Mrs. and I decided on a whim to do something very touristy—we booked a three hour cruise around the Burlington harbor on one of several excursions boats then operating on Lake Champlain. That’s right. A three hour tour. The Professor and Ginger were not there and no one on the crew seemed to be named Gilligan. Nevertheless, it proved to be an eventful voyage. I began to take in interest in the sky when I noticed these two air masses ominously colliding up above us.
