Lake Champlain over its banks. Those familiar with Burlington Harbor, perhaps from previous posts, might recognize something missing--the 19th Century timber cribbed stone breakwater, constructed in stages from 1839 to 1890 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003, is completely underwater. As protection from waves it is rather useless in current conditions. On the other hand, I like the photographs better without it.
